
Participation and Invitations
With over 2,000 expected participants, the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum will give business and investors an opportunity to meet with governments, local authorities, civil society and UN entities in dozens of highly focused workshops and thematic sessions linked to the Rio+20 agenda.
Criteria for corporate participation:
- The Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum is an invitation-only event.
- Registration will be confirmed by the Global Compact Office on a first-come, first-served basis. However, adequate representation by participant sector, size and region will be considered.
Representatives from other stakeholder groups, including civil society and labour organizations, business associations, academic institutions, governments and the United Nations, will be invited by the Global Compact Office directly. For more information, please visit the Participants page.

Cost Covering Contribution
The Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum relies on a cost-covering contribution from participants. The contribution amount varies depending on type and size of organization.

Invitees may register multiple participants from their organizations.
1- Each Member State will receive two transferrable passes to attend the Forum. For further information, click here.
2- Complimentary registration applies to one participant per Local Network. Other Network participants must provide a contribution depending on the type of organization.

Terms and Conditions
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All rates published are in USD. All payments must be made in USD and must be received prior to the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum.
Companies and Business Associations: A cancellation fee of USD 200 will apply to cancellations received before or on 1 April 2012. For cancellations received starting from 2 April 2012 through 25 May 2012, a cancellation fee of USD 500 will apply. For cancellations received after 25 May 2012, registration fees will not be refunded.
SMEs and Civil Society: A cancellation fee of USD 100 will apply to cancellations received before or on 1 April 2012. For cancellations received starting from 2 April 2012 through 25 May 2012, a cancellation fee of USD 200will apply. For cancellations received after 25 May 2012, registration fees will not be refunded.
Cancellations must be submitted to [email protected] on or before 25 May 2012. Refunds will be made in the same manner as the original payment was received. For outstanding registrations, the same cancellation fees apply.
Confirmation
Registrants will receive a confirmation of their registration and reservation by email following receipt of payment of the registration fee. Only paid registrations will be confirmed.
Liability
In the case of government intervention or regulation, armed conflict, strikes or any other circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable for the Rio+20 Corporate Sustainability Forum to take place at the time and place as announced, the participant shall waive any claim for damages or compensation except the amount paid for registration after deduction of actual expenses incurred in connection with the Forum, and there shall be no future liability for either party.
